Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was spent at my parents.
The kids had fun playing games and playing with Leyton.
These girls love each other so much!
I, unfortunately, woke up really sick.  My head hurt so bad and I had no energy so I spent most of the day laying on the couch.  I wasn't even able to help my parents much with cooking.  I felt horrible.  The nasty bug hit me for 4 days- fever, barely eating and spending my days sleeping.  And poor Andrew got it just as I got over it.  It was a rough week for our family.
Papa & Pama got the kids some new Christmas books.
 A little family singing!
Beyond thankful for these two kiddos!

Basketball season

Basketball season has started and Andrew is loving it!  Daddy is the coach and his two buddies Carter & Emery are on his team.  Practice is only once a week with a game every Saturday which seems like a lot less compared to the twice a week soccer practices.
I think basketball is one of Andrew's favorite sports.  He makes several baskets each game and loves running from one end of the court to the other.  He's a pretty competitive 6 year old!

Ideation

Nate moved into a new office in November.  He worked really hard on making it a contemporary, creative space.  With the help of my dad, they made it look really nice!
There's tons more space and lots of great storage.  They still have some finishing touches, but overall it looks amazing!
I love these floor to ceiling sliding cabinets!
The kids love visiting Daddy at work.
On this particular day, they sat at my dad's desk, put on his glasses and pretended to be papa…it was pretty funny!
My grandpa came by to do a prayer/blessing over Nate's company and new office.

Ava

Ava wore one of my dresses from when I was a little girl the other day.  Here's Ava at 3, and me at 3.
November 3rd
Ava is such a girly girl.  Almost daily she hosts a tea party or birthday party.
November 6th
On this particular day she asks Andrew and I to come to her tea party for her babies.
Feeding her babies….such a funny girl.
All ready for picture day at school!

Halloween

Halloween was busy this year!  Both of the kids had parties at the same time in two different towns.
Andrew got to wear his costume to school...

Ava had orange day at school.  She was not happy- she wanted to wear her costume.
I went to Andrew's party first since it started at 10.  (This is his new smile so he can show that he's missing a tooth.)
Andrew (with Chloe- the girl he thinks is cute and who he also calls the rock & roll girl) making spiders.
I left Andrew's party at 10:45 to get to Ava's party by 11.  I'm not sure she was as excited to see me as Andrew was at his party.
They has a snack, read a story and played a game.  It was a quick party but Ava had fun.  We left by 11:30 and raced back to pick up Andrew.
That night the grandparents came over for chili and hanging out.  The kids really loved trick or treating this year and went for much longer than the year before.
Donatello & Strawberry Shortcake
Ava always stood behind Andrew and let him knock.  He was cute to ask her after we left every house if she said trick or treat and thank you.
The kids always love trick or treating at our house and having their Pama's answer the door.

The Tooth Fairy!

Andrew finally lost his two bottom teeth!  He had been wiggling them for about a month and the night before Halloween I told him that if he wanted to look like a jack-o-latern for Halloween then we should pull his tooth out! It came out on the 3rd pull.
His second tooth he pulled out a month later.  He was so excited!  Both times the tooth fairy came and brought 4 sparkly quarters.  Andrew still isn't sure if he can buy anything with his quarters because he doesn't think stores take sparkly quarters…so he is saving them.
