Another day at the Patch

My parents were in Hawaii for 10 days, so when they got home my sister & Leyton came to town and we all headed to the pumpkin patch.

Ava was so excited to see them!

Fun Run

Andrew had a fun run last month.  He did great!  He did 8 laps.

 The kindergarteners and first graders ran together.  When they started he was the fourth run…such a competitive boy!  His pace slowed after a lap and he had to take a little break.  He got back in an finished up with 8 laps.  So proud of him!

The Pumpkin Patch

Our annual family trip to the pumpkin patch.

It was a beautiful day, probably 70s out and pretty crowded at the patch.

The pumpkins were a bit picked over due to the really nice weather we'd been having and our oldest was a bit grumpy that day.

Things started looking up when we went on the hayride…the kids seemed to really like it.

We picked out our pumpkins.

Tried to get a few pictures…Ava was not amused during the family pic.

The other highlight was definitely the horses.  Ava loved them.

And both kids had fun feeding them hay.

Ava's field trip

Since Ava's school wasn't starting till late October, their class got together and had a field trip to the pumpkin patch.  I brought my nice camera, got it out to take some pictures, and the battery was dead.  Such a bummer! So all my pics are from my iPhone.

One of Ava's best friends, Emmery, is in her class and they had so much fun running around the farm together.

They loved the chickens and goats.  Another highlight was the hayride.

She picked out several pumpkins before finding the perfect one.

These girls are so silly together.
