A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Party

Andrew wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party for his birthday this year.  He started planning it back in May around Ava's birthday.  He is obsessed with all things TMNT so of course we had to make it the theme of the party.
The birthday boy in front of the dessert table (the lighting in that room makes pictures a little difficult).
And the food table.  Since the Ninja Turtles love pizza, we had to have pizza at the party, along with ceasar salad, fruit and green jello.
 We had LOTS of dessert!
This is the first year that parents dropped their kids off at the party.  Some of the parents stayed too, which was so helpful.  Andrew invited all of his buddies (Carter L, Cole, Hudson, Carter L, & Emery) and since Ava is friends with a lot of their sister's it worked out great!
First activity was to make nunchuks.  It sounded like a fun activity but ended up just being me and a few mom's making them for the kids.
All kids were offered a mask when they entered the party and some of the kids wore them most of the time.  It was pretty cute!
All the kids tried the "ooze" (green jello) but decided it was gross and only wanted the gummy worm in the jello!
Every year I put together a slideshow of the birthday boy from the past year.  This year was the first time the kids sat and watched it.  It was pretty funny to see all the boys sitting and looking at all the pictures.
The first game we played was probably the kids favorite (thank you Daddy for thinking of it!)
Each kid had a balloon (kraang) attached the their ankle.  They had to stomp on other's kraang to pop the balloon.  Who ever was the last one with a balloon on their ankle won.  It was hilarious to watch them run around and they had the best time.
The next game was pin the mask on the ninja turtle.
Ava with her friend Lulu waiting in line.
 Carter & Carys.

 Present time!
 And the last game...the piñata!
Such a fun birthday party celebrating my sweet 6 year old boy!
