Last weeks update

Like I mentioned in my previous post, last week was crazy busy! It was such a fun week though. My sister and Leyton were in town so we go to hang out with them a bit too.

Monday: I dropped Ava off with my parents while Andrew was at VBS and got to go shopping with my sister! It was so much fun to get to spend some time with her.

Tuesday: While Andrew was at VBS, Ava and I headed to Starbucks to meet my dad, sister & Leyton for coffee. Ava really wanted to try on Leyton's sunglasses.

Andrew and I did a little bike riding in the afternoon before we headed out for a late afternoon boat ride.

Daddy had to work late so Papa & Andrew were the only boys.

It was Leyton's first time on our boat.

Andrew did a little tubing, but before he let Kayla ride with him he wanted to go by herself. He told her, "I'll show you how it's done." Haha!

Such a fun day but we missed Daddy!

Wednesday: More VBS, Ava and I met up with some friends at Bridgeport, an afternoon of playing in the water and then track camp that night.

Thursday: Swimming lessons and Andrew's last night of Young Champions.

Friday: A morning at the park with our friends Hudson and Charleigh.

And then an evening at the Farmer's Market with Papa and Pama while Daddy had another late night of work.

Ava's first time wearing a big girl headband.

They had a band playing at the Farmer's Market and Ava asked Papa to dance with her. It was so cute.

Young Champions

We had such a busy week- VBS in the morning and a track and field camp in the evening. Andrew was exhausted but had a blast!

The track and field camp was put on by our church at a local school. It was preschool through elementary. The preschoolers were so cute!

On night one we got there pretty early for registration.

Andrew had a blast playing with all of the kids while he waited for the events to start.

Ava loved watching it all and was quite the cheerleader.

He loved racing with the big wheels.

Night 3 (we skipped night 2 cause Daddy had to work late)

Buddy Papa & Twyla Pama came and watched.

On the last night they did a track meet. The preschoolers were up first and Andrew did a relay...it was adorable. He loved it and told me later that he could have gone faster. I asked him if he was nervous or excited before the race and he said that he was nervous.

After the relay he got a medal.

After all of the preschoolers did their relays they did a mini "Opening Ceremonies" where they all walked the track, they did the lighting of the torch and played the National Anthem. As soon as the music started, Andrew tapped Jenna (one of the coaches) on the shoulder and said, "I don't sing." Totally cracks me up because that is so Andrew. His least favorite part of church is the singing time.

So proud of my little boy.

We finished off the night with some snow cones (which the kids didn't like) and playing in the bouncy house.

Such a fun week at track camp!

Last week

Monday: we went to the park with Andrew's friend Landon and his sister.

The kids had a blast!

That night we went to the park by our house with Daddy.

Tuesday: We headed back over to West Linn to go play in a friends pool. Too bad we had to get out after only being there for a bit due to the thunderstorm. Later that night the kids spent the night with Papa & Pama Bailey while we went on a date.
