The day after we got home from camping was our 9 year anniversary. All of our family members were out of town so we decided to venture to the east side with the kids for dinner. It was a beautiful night and we had such a fun time. We tried Cha Cha Cha, a little mexican restaurant and for dessert, the Waffle Window. We walked along Hawthorne and enjoyed our time as a family. It was a fun night!
Andrew took this picture of us in front of the restaurant.
The Waffle Window.
While we enjoyed the waffle, Andrew had some mango ice cream at Ben & Jerry's.
Nate's parents got back from California that weekend so we took the kids over for a sleep over on Saturday. It was Ava's 1st time sleeping there. We had dinner that night downtown at Brasserie Montmarte. It was amazing!!! After dinner we headed over to a little dessert place on the east side called Pix. They had amazing desserts. It was such a fun night! The next morning we slept in, had coffee and went grocery shopping. Grocery shopping without kids is the best! We didn't see the kids until dinner time. The kids had a blast at Papa & Pama's and we enjoyed a little time to ourselves.
They bought her a little toddler bed and she loved it. It was her first time sleeping in a bed.
The kids love the huge bath at Papa & Pama's house!
