Last week we spent a lot of time on the boat. So glad that summer has finally arrived and we can spend our summer on the river!

She loves to drive the boat, just like her brother.
On our first day out, as soon as Nate went out to wakeboard, Andrew told us that he wanted to wake board next. I was a little shocked, but we said ok. He got his board on, went in the water with Nate and then immediately freaked out.
I think the water was too cold and he didn't understand that he had to lay on his back in the water with his board on. Poor guy. He didn't want to try again and hasn't since, but we are hoping he will soon.
Both kids do enjoy getting dunked in the water from the back deck.
Ava was even brave enough to swim with Papa for a bit.

I love this picture of the two of them. So sweet.
Andrew decided he wanted to go out on the tube so we decided to all go. We went kinda slow since Ava was on there and she absolutely loved it. When Andrew decided he wanted to go faster, Ava and I got back in the boat and have cried so hard. She kept saying, "more, more." Poor thing. She is definitely are more daring child.
