My Pumpkins

Yesterday morning we thought we would do something fun as a family. We were lucky that Daddy was able to take a few hours away from work to join us at the pumpkin patch. We went to Lee Farms, the farm we always go to and love. Unfortunately it didn't turn out to be as fun of a day as we planned. Andrew was in a terrible mood the whole time and whined and complained a ton. Going to the pumpkin patch on a beautiful fall day is one of my favorite things to do, so I was really looking forward to it. We put Ava in her Halloween costume (like we did with Andrew when he was a baby) and took lots of pictures. She did great. After awhile we decided that it just wasn't worth it to be there if Andrew was going to be so grouchy, so we came home. I'm hoping that he is in a better mood when we head to a different pumpkin patch this weekend for his friend's birthday.
Andrew really wanted to pull this cart around the whole time and kept getting frustrated with it. He was also very obsessed with the tractors and wanted to be on one at all times.

Picture taken by Andrew.

My attempt at taking a picture of both of them with the pumpkins. Didn't work out so well :(

I love pumpkin patches in the fall! Too bad for a grumpy boy, but little Ava is too cute as a lady bug (if you are British you would call her a lady bird).
