As soon as we got back from our trip we headed out to get our tree. It was our second year at the McCulloch farm and we were able to find a tree within minutes. It's a little smaller than usual but we didn't have a lot of time since it wasn't raining at the moment and we were anxious to get a tree. Andrew was very excited to help with the tree this year. He wanted to put up all of the "jingle bells" on the tree and clumped them all together and hung them from the lights. He was so cute about it. His excitement and understanding of Christmas this year was so fun. He wanted Christmas lights on the house as soon as we got home, he loved all of the Christmas decorations, and showed everyone our Christmas tree when they came over.
(don't worry that Andrew isn't wearing clothes, he prefers to only wear his underwear around the house....hoping this is just a stage!)
Our tree!
We really wanted him to understand the meaning of Christmas this year so we talked a lot about Jesus' birthday. He was also very interested in Santa so I think he got confused some of the time. When we went to our church's annual Christmas performance we let him sit and watch (his 1st year watching). During one of the songs he turned to me and said, "is Jesus coming now?" It was so sweet. I think with all of the talk of Santa coming to bring presents and Jesus' birthday, he got a little confused.

11.26.10-Andrew's 1st letter to Santa....
Andrew has been doing a lot of crafts lately. So when he came home with this handprint wreath from school we were so excited. He was so proud of himself and excited that we were hanging it up in the house. It will be kept and treasured forever.

Since he's been loving crafts, we decided to make ornaments for some of the family members this year. His favorite part was definitely the glue!
