Pama's birthday weekend

Since it was the big 6-0 for my mom, we headed to Eagle Crest for a weekend away with the family.  We stayed in a HUGE house with enough rooms for all of us and one to spare.

On Friday night we celebrated my mom.  Kayla and I worked for days and hours on a scrapbook for my mom.  We asked friends and family to write things they love about our mom and words that remind them of her.  We put these all in a book as well as 60 years of photos.  It took a ton of time looking through pictures and scanning but it was so worth it.  The book turned out amazing and my mom loved it.
On Saturday we headed into Sister for a bit for a little bit of shopping and of course coffee at Sister's Coffee Company.  It was such a cold day, I think in the mid 40s, so we didn't walk around much.  We spent the rest of the day just hanging out at the house.  It was so nice to just relax and do some reading.
 These kids love being together!
Andrew got a new book and he was so excited about it!
We played lots of fun games, hung out, read and had a great Saturday afternoon!
We tried to cool down the hot tub at the house so the kids could swim in it for a bit, but it was still so hot.  They were a bit disappointed to we put them in the big jacuzzi tub and they had a blast.
After the kids went to bed Kayla & I went in the hot tub.  It was way to cold, so that didn't last long.  We headed back in the house and played mexican dominos for the rest of the night.  It was so fun!
We packed up on Sunday morning, went into Sisters for donuts at this cute bakery and then coffee at Sister's Coffee Company before heading back home.  As we were sitting at the coffee shop it started snowing.  I seriously can't believe how cold it is for April!  We drove home in the snow until we got over the pass.  It was a beautiful drive.
It was such a great weekend with family and the kids had so much fun playing together.

Such a fun weekend. The book you girls made was extra-special...so much love put into the creation. I cherish it and love you both for taking the time to do it for me. Always enjoy the time we can all be together. It was a very special weekend!
