This month is full of a lot of nights with just the two of us. A few weekends ago my in-laws offered to keep the kids for the night so we headed to dinner at the old Boathouse, now called Stickmen. It is the most beautiful setting on the lake and used to be one of my favorite places. The Boathouse closed down and the Stickmen is now there. It's only been open for a few weeks, but it really wasn't that good, which is a total bummer!
After dinner we headed to Salt & Straw on 23rd. The line was huge, but it was worth the 20 minute wait. The ice cream was amazing!!!
The next morning we slept in late and then headed down to the Lake Oswego farmer's market. We had a late breakfast at my favorite bakery, St. Honore and then walked around the market. It was so much fun.
We then headed to Crave, the bakery that won Cupcake Wars and shared a cupcake. It was so good.
After that we headed back to our neck of the woods and went to the most amazing winery about 5 minutes from our house. The property used to house the Budweiser Clydesdales and is now trains horses. It's a beautiful property and even has a lake that they made into a pool.
After our fun day we met the kids at McMinnamins on the river. We were all very excited to see each other! Such a fun weekend with my man.
While we were enjoying our time together, the kids were having a blast with the grandparents!
They got Andrew a bike for their house and he had tons of fun riding it around.
He even found a frog in their backyard!
Ava got a wagon and while the boys rode their bikes, Ava had a snack in her wagon and followed the boys to the park. I was pretty proud of Andrew for riding his bike all the way to the park.
