Disneyland!

The last part of our trip to Palm Springs we drove over to Disneyland for a few days.  It was a blast!  I think Disneyland at Christmas time is my favorite.  It just love all of the Christmas decorations.
We headed to Cars Land first.  It was pretty amazing!  Both of the kids loved it.  It was definitely crowded but we were able to ride all of the rides (3) even though we had to wait in line for an hour for the big car ride.
Waiting in line for our first ride at Cars Land...not the best ride, but the kids still had fun.
Cars Land is decorated so cute!
Ride #2...so fun!  The boys really loved it, but if freaked Ava out a bit.
We spent the rest of the day riding all of the rides in California Adventure.  The kids loved the Toy Story ride, Andrew rode on the ferris wheel for the first time, Nate & I got to ride on Screamin (Andrew wanted to but was a bit short), Ava went on the Ariel ride and Andrew rode on Goofy's flying school.
We ended our day waiting in line at the main Cars ride. (Ava was too short to ride on it.) It was an hour wait and by the time we finished with the ride it was dark so we got to see Cars Land all lit up...it was very cool and Andrew loved it!

We ended our night by watching the fireworks show and snow on main street.  It was magical!  Andrew kept saying that he knew the fireworks would make a mess...that kid cracks me up!
We spent the second day at Disneyland.

Andrew was much more adventurous and we were able to go on a lot more rides than we have in the past.
Our first time on the tea cups and storybook land.
While Andrew, Daddy, Papa & Pama went on Star Tours, Ava and I rode Alice and Wonderland.  Andrew loved Star Tours and is now into Star Wars big time and Ava and I had a great time together.
She even got to meet Cinderella...one of her favorites!
We headed over to see Santa and ran into Minnie too!  Ava was thrilled and Minnie was so sweet with her and gave her lots of attention.  It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip!
The kids loved Santa and even had him sign their autograph books.

Ava went on her first roller coaster in ToonTown.
She loved it at first and had her hands in the air but then totally freaked out.  I was glad it was a short ride!

We stayed at the Grand Californian and I just love the way they decorate for Christmas.  It's such a beautiful hotel!
This was probably one of my favorite trips to Disneyland.  The perfect way to start the holiday season!
